Projects

Crop Disease Severity Prediction – (NC State Graduate Research Project)

Implemented custom CNN to predict corn crop disease severity from drone images. Developed image augmentation preprocessing with segmentation and CLAHE to overcome noisy, real-world nature of drone images. Research involved both regression and classification modeling and hyperparameter tuning using Optuna.

Prosthetic Gait Analysis – (NC State Graduate Course Project)

Implemented a custom PyTorch 1D CNN-LSTM model to analyze robotic prosthetic telemetry data to predict the type of terrain users are walking on. MLflow used for model architecture and training analysis.
